Toastmasters is not simply a public speaking organization, as it is often referred to. Toastmasters can be considered a self-improvement club, and the two areas we choose to focus on improving are Communication and Leadership, and we do so by practicing it and watching others practice it.
We love our guests and promise to welcome you into our meeting. We are very confident you will leave the meeting glad you came and with a smile on your face!
If you have any questions about the Toastmasters organization, about our club or our meetings, please check out our FAQ page. You will likely find the answer to your question there. If you are ready to join us, start by filling in the online membership application here.
Gilbert Toastmasters Club works individually with new members and guests to ensure all questions about our club are answered. Guests are introduced to veteran members to answer questions during their visits. New members are offered a mentor that helps answer questions and provides support/training for speeches, evaluations, and assigned functions. If you would like to learn more about our club or about the Toastmasters International organization in general, please feel free to join us at a meeting as a guest and/or e-mail questions to our Vice President of Membership at firstname.lastname@example.org
